How to apply a patch
Each download contains only Squidgy's changes. You will need an IPS-compatible patcher and your own legally obtained copy of the exact game revision listed on the project page.
Base ROM and patch checksums- Keep a clean backup: make a copy of your unmodified game file before changing anything.
- Download the patch: choose the correct
.ipsfile for your game revision. - Open your patcher: choose its Apply IPS patch option.
- Select both files: pick the downloaded patch, then your clean game file when prompted.
- Save a new copy: keep the patched game separate from your untouched backup.
- Check the revision: if the game does not start correctly, confirm that the base game matches the version required by the project.
